The Certificate Course in Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) is a six-month course that trains individuals to support Persons with Disabilities (PwD) at the community level. It focuses on developing skills for community assessment, identifying needs, and facilitating access to government schemes and rehabilitation services. The course is recognized by the Rehabilitation council of India and aims to create community workers who can promote inclusive development by bridging the gap between PwDs and available resources.
Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: 10th pass from a government-recognized institution and applicants must be above 18 years of age
Certification: The course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Course design: Co-designed by RCI and University of Melbourne .
Outcome: Upon completion, graduates can work as grassroots rehabilitation workers, sometimes referred to as Divyanga Mitra (friends of persons with disabilities).
D.Ed Spl. Ed Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD): 2 year full time programme.
Eligibility - 12th grade with 50%.
Classes from Monday to Friday (9:30 am - 4 pm); first and third Saturday (9.30 am -1pm) - theory classes and practical; 3 theory papers and 3 practical papers at the end of each semester.
Attendance - 80% required to appear for the final exams.

Post Graduate Diploma in Comprehensive Management of Children with Learning Disorders (PGD - LD)
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with teaching experience; prefer teachers with experience
1 year part-time program; contact classes on every Saturday
Work with children with learning disability and submit case studies
Write assignments; present journal/seminar
Write 3 theory papers at the end of the programme
Diploma in Learning Disability
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree
12 months part-time programme
10 contact classes in total, one Saturday a month
Work with 3 children with specific learning disability and submit case studies; submit assignments
Write three theory paper at the end of the term
Diploma in Inclusive Education
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree
12 months part-time programme
10 contact classes in total, one Saturday a month
Work with 3 children with special needs in inclusive schools and submit case studies; submit assignments
Write three theory paper at the end of the term
Certificate Course in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Eligibility: 12th grade for parent batch; Bachelor's Degree for general category
12 months part-time program for parents of children with special needs
10 contact classes in total; one Saturday a month; syllabus covers normal child development from birth to 8 years of age and early intervention for children with special needs
Work with 3 children and write their profiles; submit assignments
Write one theory paper at the end of the program
3 months internship

Along with the completed application form, you need to submit:
Photostat copies of 10th and 12th grades and Degree certificates (refer the courses section regarding eligibility criteria for each course)
2 passport size photographs
Please bring original certificates. These will be returned immediately after verification
