Latha is a multi tasking person, working with Mindtree Ltd. and running a successful business. She is blessed with a 11 year old son. Alongwith her husband, she has set up an edible oil mill using an old methodology called ghara. The oil is chemical free. The husband and wife team took a loan to start the business. Today she has set up another unit in Bangalore.

Latha says her school taught her to face life in all its challenges and without any fear. "Every single member at SSK moulded me to the finest piece. I am very thankful for giving this life for me and very proud of my school. My teachers were very supportive when I was a kid and student, they were also my parents and friends, my sister and my brother, they have fed me when I was hungry; they have taken me to the hospital when I was sick; they have never let me down any day. Joining Mindtree during its inception alongwith the Mindtree founders in 1999 was a happy moment of my life and every single day was a learning moment. All this was not possible without the education I received at Spastics Society of Karnataka. Coming from an orphanage, I thank my school for my education and rehabilitation therapies and job at Mindtree. I was able to support my siblings in their education and thank my husband for his support".
