Naveen Mariyan

Naveen Mariyan graduated from Spastics Society of Karnataka, after completing his Senior Secondary, with good grades. He was a good and pleasant student who was always ready to help others. Athough a bit shy and reticent, he was quite popular among his peers.

He showed lots of interest in catering business which didn’t do so well. Later he joined Zomato and after gaining some experience there, he mastered enough courage and confidence to start his own venture. He became an entrepreneur and started a venture called “KHAALI BOTTLE” to rid Bangalore of its unending trash. The start-up’s USP is converting Trash into Cash. It does it through simple solution of reusing and recycling wastes which is a win-win situation for him and his customers. To know more about the venture, visit his website - www.khalibottle.in

Naveen, who once was a shy and insecure student, now thrives on challenges. “We have partnered with Fresh Menu, Cartisan and House Joy and Just Dial for lead sharing and we work on a recurring basis with 18 restaurants and 34 apartment communities” says this beaming and confident entrepreneur today.

We, at Spastics Society of Karnataka, are indeed proud of his success story and are excited to be a part of his journey. Our institution continues to nurture marginalized and neglected communities of the society, in an effort to hone confident, inspiring and enthusiastic future citizens.
