The team of therapists, special educator and social worker visits the Primary Health Centre every Thursday. They work in association with the Community Development Centre (CDC), Govt. of Karnataka. Apart from screening infants and children referred by the doctors and providing direct services, the team also sensitizes parents, teachers and community workers through awareness programmes on interventions services and inclusion of children with special needs.
Vidya Project – Literacy Enhancing Programme in 12 Rural Schools
The project covers 12 rural schools in Harohalli, Kanakapura District in Karnataka. Programme includes screening children at the primary level for developmental disabilities which leads to early diagnosis and intervention.
