Ms. Sushmita Danabalan, alumni SSK was felicitated at an awards function held by the Foundation for Arts and Culture on the occasion of International Women’s Day
2011 – 2012
SSK received an award for Best Product developed by Sheltered Workshops from The National Trust, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India
Mrs Rukmini Krishnaswamy, the Director, received an award for Meritous Service from Balavikas Academy, Government of Karnataka, Dharwad.
She also received the Easwaramma Puraskara from Mahila Vibhag of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, Karnataka
Rani, a staff member from the Saath Saath Unit, received the Best Physically Challenged Woman Award in recognition of her achievements from Foundation of Art and Culture for Deaf, Bangalore
